South Korean Ambassador's Cup
On December 22-23, a taekwondo tournament - "South Korean Ambassador's Cup" was held in Gori.
The tournament was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of South Korea in Georgia and the Georgian Taekwondo National Federation
About 300 athletes from all regions of Georgia participated in the tournament.
At the opening ceremony, the following speakers addressed the attendees and participants: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Korea to Georgia Hyon Doo Kim and President of the National Taekwondo Federation of Georgia Aleksandre Todua.
The tournament was organized at the highest level and received great praise from the Korean guests.
According to the Ambassador, the tournament, which was held for the first time this year, will become an annual event and will continue to be held in the future, will increase in scale and foreign athletes will also have the opportunity to participate in it.
President of the Georgian Taekwondo National Federation Aleksandre Todua thanked the Ambassador for this initiative and also for the activities he carries out in Georgia to popularize taekwondo.
